A Birmingham homeowner found their window cracked and the garage door damaged on Tuesday, September 5, around 6 p.m.

The owner, living at the 2400 block of Dorchester, told police they noticed a window in the back of the house was cracked and the garage door had been damaged. According to the report, the rear of the house where the window is cracked is currently under construction.

An investigation is ongoing, but police say no one entered the home or garage unlawfully.
