On Monday, October 20, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Bloomfield Township Police Department responded to a retail fraud that just occurred at Dick’s Sporting Goods located at 2105 S Telegraph Road.

The described middle-aged black male selected over $500 worth of Nike apparel. The suspect approached the check out counter and attempted to pay for the items, but had an issue with his credit card.

The male stepped away from the counter and when the cashier was distracted left with the merchandise, failing to pay for any of it.

Police ask that anyone with any information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
