Dick’s Sporting Goods at 2501 S. Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township was the target of retail fraud on Saturday, August 30.

According to township police, the suspect, an unknown black male, entered the store at approximately 12:30 p.m. and was seen placing multiple packs of boxer briefs, valued at $237, into a black Nike backpack. The suspect left the store failing to pay for the items.

Store employees observed the suspect leave the area in a red hatchback, according to police.

The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
