Disorderly Birmingham resident issued citation
A Birmingham resident exiting a local restaurant was arrested after he refused to stop his disorderly and aggressive behavior.
A Birmingham police officer conducting patrol on Saturday, April 8, heard a loud noise followed by a man “forcefully” exiting a restaurant on N. Old Woodward Avenue and Willits Street. The 35-year-old man reportedly tried to knock over a planter on the sidewalk while a group of others tried and failed to stop him.
The officer then cut in, also trying to stop the individual, but the man allegedly continued to act aggressively and belligerently, repeatedly walking into the officer.
Ultimately, he was arrested and issued a citation for disorderly person and possession of a controlled substance.
