DoorDash order stolen from resident’s driveway

A Birmingham resident’s food delivery from DoorDash was stolen from his driveway on Tuesday, September 19.

The resident living on the 300 block of Elm Street told police he ordered DoorDash, and a confirmation picture showed that the food was placed in his driveway. The victim also had a grocery delivery shortly after the DoorDash order which was dropped off.

When the resident went to grab both orders from the driveway, he noticed his food delivery was missing. Luckily, all the groceries were reportedly accounted for.

According to reports, the resident was refunded for the food after placing an incident report with the company.

Birmingham police are investigating.
