Downtown business discovered vandalized

A business owner on Woodward Avenue in Birmingham found someone had thrown a rock through the front window of the business around 10 a.m. on Monday, July 3.


The owner of the business, located at 33000 Woodward Avenue, reported that the suspect was a man wearing a black shirt, light-colored pants and a black bucket hat. According to the victim, the man didn’t enter the business or steal anything from inside.


Reportedly, the damage to the window will cost about $2,500 to repair.


Birmingham police state an investigation is ongoing.
