Following a traffic stop for an illegal U-turn, a Southfield man was arrested in Birmingham near northbound Old Woodward and Hamilton in the early morning hours of Monday, September 8, on multiple outstanding warrants.

Birmingham police officers patrolling the area reported seeing the man make the turn, leading them to pull him over. They later learned of the various warrants from other cities, including Royal Oak, and placed him under arrest.

Birmingham police reported later transferring him over to the Royal Oak Police Department.
