Driver arrested on multiple warrants

While driving near Woodward Avenue and Bowers Street in Birmingham in the early morning of Saturday, June 13, a driver was stopped by police for an expired license plate which ultimately ended with his arrest. 

Birmingham police reported that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license or title for the car and the car’s registration and insurance were both expired. On top of that, the driver had outstanding warrants through the Detroit Police Department and Warren Police Department. 

Birmingham police reported he was placed under arrest and later transported to the Warren Police Department.
