Driver arrested on warrant during traffic stop

An Oak Park man was arrested in Birmingham the night of Tuesday, October 21, after police officers discovered an arrest warrant during a traffic stop for speeding.

According to the police report, patrol officers watched the man speeding near Adams Road and Derby Road and pulled him over. During the stop, they learned he had a warrant issued from Dearborn Heights, leading the officers to arrest him.

He was later transferred to the Dearborn Heights Police Department, Birmingham police said.
