Driver arrested on warrant during traffic stop

A Detroit man was arrested in Birmingham on Saturday, September 19, during a traffic stop near Chesterfield Avenue and Pine Street after officers discovered an outstanding warrant.

Birmingham police reported they pulled the driver over for failing to stop at a stop sign. They learned shortly after that the man had an active warrant out of Calhoun County and was subsequently arrested.

Police reported he was later transported to Calhoun County.
