Drunk arrested after third incident of night

A highly intoxicated Royal Oak man was arrested in Birmingham in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 22, near the intersection of Willits and North Bates after his third aggressive incident of the night. 

Birmingham police reported that they were waved over to the intersection, away from a scene they were already at, by a man who was restraining the suspect, noting that the suspect was allegedly trying to start a fight.

The officers said they recognized the guy from two earlier incidents at a bar on S. Old Woodward and was ultimately taken into custody for acting aggressive and being uncooperative. 

Birmingham police reported arresting him for disorderly conduct and obstructing officers.
