A woman from Chicago on Tuesday, December 23, was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing at a bar in the 500 block of South Old Woodward in Birmingham.
At approximately 7 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Old Woodward, a nearby bar, for a report of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the suspect, a 52-year-old female from Chicago, who stated her purse was inside the bar or had been stolen.
The suspect appeared heavily intoxicated, was loudly argumentative, and refused to move from the entryway, police said. The bar manager stated the suspect and her group had been cut off due to their level of intoxication and returned approximately 5 –10 minutes later looking for the purse. It could not be located, and the suspect became loud and irate.
The suspect was advised she was trespassed from the bar, but despite repeated verbal commands continued attempting to enter and failed to comply with officers’ instructions. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
