A Bloomfield Hills man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cocaine possession after Birmingham police pulled him over around 2 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, for speeding on Old Woodward.

Birmingham police report that an officer saw the man speeding in a 25 mph zone on northbound Old Woodward near Euclid. The officer said they noticed signs of intoxication and confirmed it with a field sobriety test.

After the driver was placed under arrest, the officer had the car impounded and two bags of cocaine were found.
