After allegedly walking around barefoot and urinating in the parking lot of a Birmingham grocery store located in the 600 block of E. Maple Road on Saturday, June 20, a drunk man was taken to the police station and issued citations for open intoxicants in a vehicle, resisting a police officer and urinating in public.

The police report indicated the man showed signs of being drunk and had several open cans of beer in the passenger seat and cup holder of his car, earning him the citation for open intoxicants.

Police reported he was also uncooperative while being transported, which led to his citation for resisting a police officer.
