Dumpster driven off in nighttime heist

An unidentified man in a white truck hitched his vehicle to a dumpster in the 500 block of Old South Woodward in downtown Birmingham in the early hours of Friday, September 20, and drove off.


A witness working at a nearby apartment building called police to report the 1 a.m. heist.


Birmingham police are continuing their investigation.
