The Bloomfield Township Police Department took five reports of larceny from automobiles throughout the township from December 4 through December 5.

In total, police said, eight vehicles were entered and personal property, purses, computers, and shopping bags full of items were stolen. In every instance the vehicles were parked in a driveway and left unlocked. Each larceny occurred during the overnight hours.

The Bloomfield Township Police Department is investigating each of these larcenies, but said they need the community’s support, advising all residents to lock their car doors, remove all valuables from inside their car, and never leave the keys inside the vehicle.
