Emagine Palladium employee punched by patron

An employee at the Emagine Palladium, located at 209 Hamilton Row in Birmingham, was punched by a patron refusing to leave the theater after closing time on Sunday, August 28.


Birmingham police officers reported to the theater around 11:30 p.m., where the victim, who is the manager of the theater, reported that an individual refused to leave the premises after the business had closed despite being asked to do so several times. Witnesses reported that the individual became agitated and punched the manager.


The individual was arrested for assault and battery.
