Fight breaks out inside 220 Merrill restaurant

Birmingham police officers were dispatched to the 220 Merrill restaurant at 220 MerrillStreet on Sunday, February 5, after several individuals were involved in a physical altercation inside the restaurant.

When officers arrived, some of the individuals involved in the fight were no longer at the restaurant, and the reporting party refused to provide a statement.

Later, the individual contacted the police department stating he wants the individuals involved to be prosecuted for assault.

Birmingham police directed the individual to return to the department to a complete witness statement.
