Florida men arrested for fighting near Sidecar

Two men in their 30s were arrested about midnight on Tuesday, September 21, following a fistfight near the 200 block of Willits Street that left two men injured, police said.


Officers were called about 11:55 p.m. to Sidecar, 117 Willits Street, for a fight in progress. Witnesses told officers several people were involved in a verbal altercation, involving jewelry, that turned physical. Police said a 38-year-old man from New Hudson and a 56-year-old man from Stillwater, Minnesota, received injuries to their faces. They were treated at the scene by the Birmingham Fire Department.


Two men, 34 and 31, both from Boca Raton, Florida, were arrested for suspicion of assault.
