Flu shots for township seniors October 24

The Bloomfield Township Senior Center will be offering flu shots provided by University of Michigan Ambulatory Care Immunization on Friday, October 24.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and appointments are required. 

There are a limited number of flu shots available to Bloomfield Township residents 50+ years. Flu shots are free for seniors 65+ with Medicare B. Other participants’ shots will be billed to their insurance. 

There will also be complimentary blood pressure checks by senior services’ volunteers. Those interested can register by calling 248.723.3500. Proof of township residency and a Medicare card will be required for your appointment on October 24.
