Food trucks return to township campus
Wednesdays will be Food Truck Wednesdays in Bloomfield Township beginning June 19, with a different food truck visiting the township campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for not only Bloomfield Township employees to enjoy, but the entire community.
The weekly truck will serve out of the parking lot at 4190 Dublin Drive, just west of Bloomfield Community Television. Two returning favorite food trucks will be Dos Locos Burritos (formerly Tacos Te Amo) and Twisted Street BBQ. New this year are Sonny's Hamburgers, El Guero Taqueria, Egg Roll Diva, La Rotisserie and The Great Greek Food Truck.
June 19 will feature Dos Locos Burritos, followed by Twisted BBQ on June 26. There will be no truck on July 3. Sonny's Hamburgers will be featured on July 10, and Dos Locos Burritos will be back on July 17, followed by El Guero Taqueria on July 24. On July 31 Twisted Street BBQ will be the truck, and on August 7 enjoy Egg Roll Diva, followed by La Rotisserie on August 14 and The Great Greek Food Truck for the finale on August 21.
A dining area will be provided for those who buy from the food truck or for those who brown bag it. There will also be a pair of putting greens and a cornhole game set up for fun entertainment.
