Gold Krugerands stolen from township home

A Bloomfield Township resident on Monday, January 11, told police about $1,000 in cash and six Krugerrand African gold coins were stolen from her home.

The victim, who lives in the 1800 block of Wingate, told police the property was in a secret compartment inside her desk at home.

She said she was unsure when the items were stolen.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
