Golf club heads stolen from DICK's

Bloomfield Township police are looking for the person responsible for stealing nearly $3,000 in golf equipment on Tuesday, January 12, from a sporting goods store on Telegraph Road.

Police responded about 1 p.m. to DICK’s Sporting Goods, 2105 Telegraph, for a retail theft call. The manager told police a man broke the heads off eight golf clubs, stealing the heads and leaving the club shafts behind in the store racks.

The man was described as a white male, standing about six-feet, two-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, last seen wearing a green jacket, gray stocking cap, black shirt and blue jeans.

The loss was estimated at $2,900.

Investigators ask anyone with information about the case to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
