Golf clubs discovered missing from storage

A recent spring thaw revealed a $3,800 theft on Monday, March 1, when a Birmingham man discovered his golf clubs were missing from a parking garage storage area in the 400 block of S. Old Woodward, police said.

The victim told Birmingham police he put the clubs in storage in mid-November of 2020 and went to retrieve them on February 25, when he discovered the storage area unlocked and the clubs missing.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry in to the storage area.

Birmingham police said the incident is under investigation.
