Handgun stolen from Birmingham vehicle

A Birmingham resident on Friday, January 7, told police his handgun was stolen from his vehicle while it was unattended in the 1900 block of Bradford Road.


Birmingham police responded about 3:16 p.m. to the area where the victim, 43, told officers his handgun was taken from the unlocked center console of the vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry.


Birmingham police report the incident is under investigation.
