Home robbed of paintings, sports memorabilia

A Birmingham resident on Thursday, March 10, discovered several valuables stolen from his home in the 200 block of Lake Park Drive, police said.


Police said the victim told officers he is in the process of moving and found several boxed items, including sports memorabilia and paintings, were missing. The victim said the items were taken sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Monday, March 7 and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8.


Birmingham police report the incident is under investigation.
