Hooded man targets unlocked vehicles

Bloomfield Township police are looking for a man in a hooded sweatshirt who was targeting unlocked vehicles on Sunday, June 20, in the 2000 block of Devonshire Road.

Investigators said the owner of a vehicle in the area told police that the man entered her unlocked car about 11 a.m. while it was parked in front of her residence. Nothing was taken.

Police said five additional vehicles were targeted on the same road. All were unlocked.

An image of the man was captured from a doorbell camera at two different residences. The image shows a black male wearing a light-colored hoodie and sweat pants. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
