Intoxicated man arrested for home invasion

After allegedly breaking into a home on the 500 block of Woodland Avenue in Birmingham the night of Friday, October 2, a 26-year-old resident was tracked down and arrested by city police.

The homeowner reported that the man, later found to be intoxicated and under the influence of drugs, entered his house but was chased out into the backyards of neighboring homes.

Officers were able to find the man and place him under arrest, ultimately citing him for disorderly conduct and entry without permission.
