Birmingham police officers were dispatched on Saturday, July 5, to the Daxton hotel in the 200 block of South Old Woodward Avenue where a highly intoxicated 40-year-old Birmingham woman refused to leave the establishment and struck a Daxton security guard, a 46-year-old Ferndale woman.
The suspect was arrested and charged with assault and battery and disturbing the peace.
