Items stolen from store display table

Three items costing nearly $300 were taken from the display table of a Birmingham business located on the 300 block of East Maple Rd. on Thursday, July 13.

Employees of the business told police that around 3 p.m., a woman, wearing all black clothes and carrying a white purse, walked into the store and stood near the display table for a long time. After the woman left, the employees checked the table and saw that the three items were missing.

Birmingham police report the incident is under investigation.
