A Birmingham resident had her wallet was stolen from her unlocked car while parked in the 1500 block of Pilgrim Avenue, police said.

The victim told officers she had parked her vehicle unlocked in her driveway on Saturday, May 1. She said she retrieved her identification and one credit card about 6 p.m. from her purse in the back seat. The following day she noticed her wallet and son’s passport were missing.

Police said the wallet contained about $150 in cash, gift cards and credit cards.
