Items taken from Dick’s Sporting Goods

A few hundred dollars of goods were stolen from Dick’s Sporting Goods at 2105 S. Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township on Wednesday, September 9, after a couple walked off with several items.

Officers from the Bloomfield Township Police Department were dispatched to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a retail fraud in progress and when they arrived the officers were alerted by store staff that Black female and a Black male, both 20-30 years-old, had fled the store with a Stanley 40-ounce tumbler, Boggs bags, and a North Face backpack.

Bloomfield Township officers and a K-9 canvassed the area, but did not locate anyone matching the suspects’ description. Approximately $340 worth of merchandise was stolen.

This case was assigned to the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit and is currently under investigation.
