Items taken from several unlocked vehicles


Bloomfield Township police received several larceny from automobile reports on Friday, January 26, in the 900 block of N. Reading Road and 3000 block of Westman Court, which all occurred between midnight and 8 a.m.


According to police, in all of the reported cases, the vehicles had no signs of forced entry.


According to the victims, personal belongings and tools were stolen from the vehicles. Officers processed the vehicles and canvassed the area for home vehicle surveillance. In one video, the suspects are seen attempting to open a garage service door.


The crimes are currently being investigated by the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.


Police remind residents to always lock their vehicles and remove all valuables from inside.
