Jax Kar Wash employee assaulted on Woodward

Birmingham police officers were dispatched to Jax Kar Wash, located at 34745 Woodward Avenue, after an assault between a customer and employee occurred on Sunday, December 11.

Witnesses reported seeing an employee and customer, a 50-year-old Warren man, involved in a verbal and physical altercation. Birmingham police stated the assailant was issued a misdemeanor citation for assault and battery and was advised to schedule a court date.
