Jewelry taken during township home invasion

Bloomfield Township Police Department on Friday, December 19, took a report of a home invasion in the 5100 block of Windingwood Drive.


The homeowners stated that they returned home and discovered multiple pieces of jewelry stolen from the bedroom closet.


The home invasion occurred between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Officers checked the home and did not see any signs of obvious forced entry, according to the police report which also stated that it is believed that the garage door was left open to the home.


This case was assigned to the Bloomfield Township Police Investigation’s Unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248,433.7755.
