After repairing three pieces of jewelry for a Bloomfield Hills woman, a Birmingham jeweler located in the 200 block of Pierce is left without the $320 payment.

The owner of the store reported the incident at the Birmingham police department, explaining the incident took place the night of Thursday, July 23. The owner reported that the woman left with the jewelry without paying after her credit card was declined.

Birmingham police, who seldom provide the name of local businesses, reported an investigation is ongoing.
