Juveniles robbed during Nike Jordan shoe buy

Two young men were robbed on the 3000 block of W. Maple Road in Bloomfield Township on Tuesday, April 11, after meeting with an unknown male suspect to purchase a pair of Nike Jordan 1 shoes.

The two juveniles contacted Bloomfield Township police around 8:30 p.m. after the suspect took the agreed-upon amount of money for the shoes, ran back to his vehicle, then left. They were attempting to buy the shoes after having seen an online post.

The case is currently under investigation


Bloomfield Township police are asking those with information to call 248.433.7755

Police officials also reminding the public that the police department parking lot and lobby can also be used to buy and sell items online from unknown people, and acts as a Safe Commerce Exchange Zone.
