Birmingham police are investigating an alleged burglary of a home that took place during the night of Sunday, May 25, in the 100 block of Puritan Avenue.

According to the police report, officers arrived at the home to find signs of forced entry by the back door and saw more damage inside the home. The homeowners were able to confirm that the residence was unoccupied and that nothing seemed to be missing.

Witnesses reportedly identified two possible juvenile suspects, police said, and an investigation into the break-in is ongoing.
