Larceny from auto thefts on Ridgedale Avenue

Following several thefts from auto occurrences, Birmingham police officers canvassed the 600 to 800 block of Ridgedale Avenue on Sunday, November 13, with officers reporting that several vehicles in the area had been rummaged through with a variety of items missing.

A witness reported seeing unknown subjects attempting to open vehicle doors in the area, and it is believed that the vehicles were all unlocked at the time of the thefts.

Birmingham police are continuing to investigate.
