Lifetime locker theft for $1,500 cash, credit card

A member at Lifetime Fitness, 4106 Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township, had $1,500 cash, his driver’s license, a credit card, and his phone’s SIM card stolen out of his locked locker on Thursday, July 31, between noon and 1 p.m.

The suspects used the township resident’s credit card and ID to purchase a Rolex watch for $32,000. Shortly after the purchase, the suspects were arrested on a traffic stop and transported to the Livonia Police Department.

The suspects, who had no affiliation with Lifetime Fitness, were later identified by the Livonia Police Department after committing similar crimes in their jurisdiction.

Criminal charges are currently pending.
