After entering a Birmingham bar with food from another restaurant and using the bartender’s personal phone charger from behind the bar, an intoxicated Troy man caused a scene and punched the bartender.

The manager of the bar, located in the 100 block of Willits Street in Birmingham, said when the man was confronted about taking the bartender’s charger and bringing outside food, he started acting belligerent and was escorted out. While being escorted, he pushed the bartender, who said he pushed back, and then punched the bartender in the head.

Birmingham police reported they found the man at another restaurant after the incident and arrested him for disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and resisting officers.
