Man arrested at restaurant for assault/battery

A verbal argument at a Birmingham restaurant on the 33700 block of Woodward Avenue on Saturday, October 18, ended with a Waterford man being arrested for assault and battery.


Birmingham police reported that the man pushed and hit another man in the face whilst the restaurant after the argument, then tried to run. He was subsequently arrested when police arrived.


The name of local businesses are seldom provided by Birmingham police.
