A White Lake man was arrested in Birmingham on Monday, April 21, after allegedly breaking into a car parked in a resident’s driveway.

The owner of the car said it was parked in the driveway unlocked and when his wife went out in the morning she noticed items scattered aside. The couple did not report that anything was missing from the car.

Birmingham police talked with witnesses that reported seeing the White Lake man going into the car around 2 a.m. The man was identified and arrested, police stated.

The police report did not list the address of the break-in and stated the report was taken over the phone.
