Man arrested on outstanding multiple warrants

While Birmingham police officers were conducting traffic enforcement near Woodward Avenue and E. Maple the afternoon of Thursday, October 22, they located and arrested a suspect with multiple outstanding arrest warrants.

The officers reported the man was lying on the sidewalk, leading them to pull over and ask if he needed assistance. Officers discovered the warrants during the interaction and placed him under arrest.

Police said he was later transferred to the Oakland County Jail.
