A Detroit man was arrested at 5 a.m. in Birmingham near the area of Woodward Avenue and Oakland Avenue on Saturday, June 28, after police found warrants out for his arrest.

The police department stated officers originally stopped the man after seeing him walking in the road where there were no lights.

The officers reportedly blocked traffic to talk with the man and placed him under arrest after finding the warrant issued by the Troy Police Department as well as other departments.

The man was transferred to the Troy Police Department.
