Man assaulted, verbally threatened in lot

A man from Keego Harbor reported an assault on Saturday, September 2, after he was verbally threatened and hit several times by a suspect in a parking lot near N. Old Woodward and Harmon in Birmingham.


The man reported to police that he knew the attacker and after being hit numerous times by the suspect and being verbally menaced, he quickly got back into his car and drove away. He said he was uninjured but was concerned about his safety.


Birmingham police said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
