Man choked by another while at restaurant

While out at a restaurant on the 100 block of Willits in Birmingham, a man from Bloomfield Hills was allegedly choked on Thursday, April 11, by a man from Troy.


Birmingham police reported that the victim has an ongoing civil court case against the suspect, who allegedly owes him money. The record also shows the assault report wasn’t filed until Saturday, April 20.


Birmingham police said they are investigating the report.
