After being caught red-handed by Birmingham police officers, a 22-year-old Canton man was cited on Sunday, July 19, for having an open intoxicant in a public space around 2 a.m.
The police report said the man was carrying an open bottle of liquor, which he said he found at a bar near S. Old Woodward and E. Brown, when the officers spotted him and noticed the smell of alcohol on him.
