Man reported for stealing from donation bins

A Romulus man was allegedly found taking items from a donation bin during the night of Monday, May 26, on the 700 block of S. Adams in Birmingham.

Police officers found the man after someone had reported him. He was told he wasn’t allowed to remove items, but the man was found to have several outstanding warrants.

His night ended with him being placed under arrest and transferred to the Royal Oak Police Department on one of the outstanding warrants.
