Man with drugs, and paraphernalia arrested

Birmingham police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Floyd Street on Saturday, March 4, after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the area.

The reporting party told officers that an unknown man was standing on his porch. Neighbors had also reported that the individual was approaching other residences in the area.

According to police, officers located the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. After talking with the man, officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia on him.

The individual was arrested for possession of drugs and narcotic paraphernalia.
